The Story Behind the Dream

As a mother in an HBCU family, Susanna has seen firsthand the perseverance, pride, community, and possibility that are part of the HBCU experience.

When her son struggled during his post Covid freshman HBCU year and considered giving up, she encouraged him to keep going—to believe in himself, hold on to his dream, and finish what he started.

Four years later, she watched him walk across the stage as an HBCU graduate.

He believed. He dreamed. He achieved.

That journey gave even deeper meaning to a message that has become part of the heart of our brand:
